Lookup
Lookup searches India public records — court cases and companies — and can pull documents straight into your File Library. It is not an AI workspace and it does not run a research or review job. It appears in the sidebar when Lookup is available for your organisation.
Lookup · India court records and companies
At a glance
- What: Search Indian court dockets and the companies registry
- Where: India only — the sidebar item is hidden unless Lookup is enabled and your active jurisdiction is India
- Domains: Court cases and Companies (those are the only two catalogues)
- Output: Record details in place, plus optional import into File Library
- Paid retrieval: Company filing PDFs cost 60 credits and the registry usually takes 10 to 30 minutes
Why use Lookup
Court orders and company filings often live outside the files you already uploaded. Lookup lets you find a matter by party, CNR, or court, or a company by name or CIN, then import what you need into the same File Library the rest of Judicio uses.
How it works
- Choose a domain — Court cases or Companies.
- Search with the fields that domain actually offers (party, CNR, court, company name, CIN, and so on).
- Open a record in place — not a separate modal.
- Import orders or filings into File Library when the record supports it.
Key capabilities
| Capability | What it does |
|---|---|
| Court cases | Find a matter across the Supreme Court, High Courts, district courts and tribunals. Import its orders into your files. |
| Companies | Look up registered details, directors and charges, and import filings. |
| File Library import | Retrieved documents land in your files so other tools can attach them. |
| Availability | Shown when Lookup is enabled for your organisation, you are in an organisation workspace on an eligible plan, your active jurisdiction is India, and this environment has Lookup turned on. |
