Unlocking records
Most of a company record answers immediately and costs nothing. The registered profile, the director and charge counts, the structured extractions and the list of filings are all there the moment the record opens. Only the filing PDFs themselves have to be retrieved from the register, and that is the one priced action anywhere in Lookup.
The split matters, because it means you can see exactly what exists before you decide. Every filing is listed with its form id, its filing date and its page count where the register gave one. You are never paying to find out whether there is anything worth having.
Cost and wait
- Confirming the request charges 60 credits.
- The register takes 10 to 30 minutes to prepare the documents.
- You do not have to wait on the page. Judicio notifies you when they are ready.
- The documents stay available to your organisation for one year.
- The charge is once per company. Anyone in your organisation can use those documents for the rest of the year at no further cost, and requesting the same company again inside that window costs nothing.
The retrieval panel
The panel sits on a company record between the handoff row and the Documents list. It is on company records only, because no other record type has anything behind a retrieval.
Before you request anything it reads Filing documents need to be retrieved from the registry, with the reassurance underneath that everything above it is already available and that this covers the filing PDFs for a full year. Get documents is on the right.
Get documents opens Retrieve filing documents, which states the whole bargain before anything is spent.

The price in that dialogue is the server's own figure, and the server refuses a confirmation that quotes a different one. You cannot be charged a number other than the one you agreed to.
Confirming replaces the panel with the progress state and raises a note saying the request is with the register, that it usually takes 10 to 30 minutes, and that you can close the page.

An overrun is reported as still working, not as a failure. The register has already been paid, and giving up on a request that is merely slow would throw that away.
The request waits on Recent activity
Recent activity on the Lookup home carries the retrieval while the register works. The row names the company, says when its access runs until once it is ready, and shows the status. Selecting it reopens that company's record.
Leaving is genuinely safe. The state lives on the server, not in the page, so closing the record, navigating away or shutting the tab loses nothing.
After it completes
When the documents are ready, the filings in the Documents list stop being disabled. Their Needs access badge is gone, and they can be ticked and imported exactly like the extractions that were free all along.
Tick what you want, set Save to to the destination folder, and press the import button, which carries your count. From there they are ordinary documents in your File Library: searchable, shareable, and usable as input to Document Review, Review Matrix, Research, Translation and the rest of the workspace.
A document the register lists but has nothing to hand over stays badged Not yet published, and a retrieval does not change that. There is nothing on the register's side to fetch.
Credits
The one priced action in Lookup
Searching is free, however many pages you page through. Opening a record is free. Importing a document badged Included is free, because its content already arrived with the record.
