Collaboration & Sharing
Share the work, not your login. On the Organisation plan, any work item you create in Judicio — a research session, a draft, a document review, a review matrix, a timeline, a translation, or a case strategy — can be shared with specific members of your organisation. Collaborators open the same session you see, follow updates as they happen, and post in the same discussion threads, each with their own account and their own attribution.

Private by default
Work items are confidential by design. Every run belongs to the person who started it, and it is visible only to that owner and the people the item has been explicitly shared with. Nobody else in your organisation — including organisation admins — can open it. Sharing is the deliberate act that grants access, so client confidentiality holds even inside a shared workspace, and you always know exactly who can see a piece of work.
Projects organise a matter's documents and give your team a shared activity trail. Item-level sharing is the complement: it controls who can open each analysis — the research session, the review, the draft itself. Being a member of a project or an organisation does not by itself open a colleague's work item; the owner (or an editor) shares it.
Two roles, one owner
Every shared item has exactly one owner — the person who created it (or received it in a transfer). Everyone else is invited as one of two roles:

Only the owner can change roles, remove collaborators, transfer ownership, or delete the item. The full permission breakdown is in Sharing a Work Item.
Near-real-time, not a shared cursor
When several people have an item open at once, Judicio keeps everyone current without getting in the way:
- Presence — avatars in the session header show who has the item open right now.
- Live updates — when a collaborator adds a turn, edits a draft, or re-runs an analysis, open sessions refresh with the change.
- Shared threads — every follow-up conversation on the item is visible to all collaborators, and editors can post in any of them, with each message attributed to its author.
- Edit locks on drafts — while someone is editing a draft, others see "[name] is editing" and wait their turn instead of overwriting each other.
Judicio deliberately does not do simultaneous same-document co-typing with live cursors; see Working Together for how concurrent editing behaves.
