Workflows & Templates FAQ
Answers to the most common questions about Judicio's Workflows & Templates feature.
System workflows
How many system workflows are available?
Judicio includes 86 pre-built system workflows covering 18 legal domains.
Can I edit a system workflow?
No. System workflows are maintained by Judicio and cannot be modified. However, you can duplicate any system workflow as a custom workflow and then edit the copy. See Creating Custom Workflows.
Are system workflows updated over time?
Yes. Judicio periodically updates and expands the system workflow library to reflect evolving legal standards and best practices. Updates happen automatically -- you do not need to do anything.
Do system workflows cost extra?
No. All system workflows are included with your Judicio subscription. Credits are consumed only when you run a document review using a workflow, not for accessing the workflow itself.
Custom workflows
How do I create a custom workflow?
You can create a custom workflow manually using the structured editor, or describe your requirements in plain language and let Judicio's AI generate one for you. See Creating Custom Workflows for step-by-step instructions.
Is there a limit to how many custom workflows I can create?
There is no hard limit on the number of custom workflows you can create. Build as many as your practice requires.
Can I import workflows from another tool?
Judicio does not currently support importing workflow definitions from external tools. However, you can use the AI generation feature to quickly recreate a workflow by describing its criteria in plain language.
What happens if I delete a custom workflow?
The workflow template is permanently removed from your Workflow Library. Any document reviews that were completed using that workflow remain accessible -- only the template itself is deleted.
Sharing
Who can see my personal workflows?
Only you. Personal workflows are not visible to anyone else in your organisation.
How do I share a workflow with my team?
When creating or editing a custom workflow, set the Visibility to Organisation. The workflow will then appear in the Workflow Library for all members of your organisation. See Sharing Workflows.
Can I share a workflow with specific team members only?
Currently, sharing is all-or-nothing within your organisation. A workflow is either personal (only you) or organisation-wide (all members). Selective sharing to specific individuals is not supported at this time.
Can other team members edit my shared workflows?
Only the workflow creator and organisation admins can edit or delete organisation workflows. Other team members can use the workflow or duplicate it to create their own personal copy.
What happens if someone leaves the organisation?
Organisation workflows created by a departing team member remain in the library. Organisation admins can manage these workflows (edit, delete, or reassign).
Workflow library
How do I find the right workflow for my task?
Use the search bar to search by keyword, or filter by domain and tags. The Workflow Library also supports sorting by name, recently used, or date created. See Workflow Library.
Can I tag workflows?
Yes. You can add tags to custom workflows when creating or editing them. Tags help with filtering and organisation. Agree on a consistent tagging convention with your team for best results.
How do I organize workflows for a large team?
Use a consistent naming convention (e.g., "[Domain] - [Document Type] - [Specifics]"), apply tags consistently, and periodically review the library to retire outdated workflows. See the organization tips in Workflow Library.
Usage and credits
Does using a workflow cost credits?
Using a workflow itself is free. Credits are consumed when you run a document review or analysis that uses the workflow. The credit cost depends on the number of documents, page count, and analysis depth -- not on the workflow you choose.
Can I use a workflow with any Judicio feature?
Workflows are primarily designed for Document Review. When you apply a workflow, its review criteria are loaded into the Document Review setup. Other features like Research, Timeline, and Translation have their own configuration methods.
