Review Matrix
Ask the same set of questions of every document in a set, and read the answers side by side. Review Matrix turns a folder of contracts into a grid: one row per document, one column per question, and in every cell a typed answer with the page it came from.

When to reach for it
Review Matrix is for the moment you have many documents and one recurring question, and you need the answers next to each other rather than buried in each file.
- Diligence across a contract set. Governing law, term, assignment, change of control, liability cap. One column each, every target contract a row.
- Lease or loan portfolios. Pull the same commercial terms out of every agreement and read the outliers off the grid.
- A clause census. Ask whether each document contains a given provision, and get a Yes or No you can filter and sort.
- Comparing drafts. Put several versions of the same agreement side by side and see where the answers diverge.
If you want issues and risk scores rather than answers to your own questions, use Document Review. If you want dates rather than terms, use Timeline. If you want a written answer rather than a grid, use Research.
How it works
- Pick your documents in the file band on the Review Matrix home. A matrix needs at least one, and holds at most 50.
- Choose how to start. Describe the matrix under Ask Judicio, open a proposed card under Smart Suggestions, or open a saved one under Templates.
- Author the questions the run will ask. Each one becomes a column, and carries an answer type that decides how its cells are shaped.
- Confirm. The confirm modal lists the documents, the questions, an estimated time and the credit cost before anything is spent.
- Watch it run on the In progress tab, or leave it and carry on. The run continues in the background.
- Read the grid. Switch between the matrix, one document at a time, or one question at a time, and open any cell to see the reasoning and the cited source.
- Correct and grow it. Type over an answer, re-extract a cell, a column or a selection, and add documents or questions to a matrix that already ran.
- Export to Word, PDF, Excel or CSV, or save the result back into your File Library.
What a cell holds
Every cell is an extraction, not a guess written from memory. Behind the visible answer sit three things you can open:
- The typed answer. A Yes or No, a date, a currency code, a tag or a piece of text, shaped by the question's answer type.
- Why this answer. A short account of how the model reached it, with the page markers inside it clickable.
- The cited source. The document, the page, and the passage. Opening it puts the document alongside the grid at the right page.
A cell you have typed over yourself carries a small pencil marker, so a human answer is never mistaken for an extracted one.

What drives the cost
The cost is additive: a fixed base for the run, plus an amount for every page across all selected documents, plus an amount for every question. Deep Mode raises both the per-page and the per-question rates. The confirm modal quotes the figure for your run, alongside your remaining balance, before the run starts. See Credits explained.
