Why use Case Strategy
Preparing a matter means holding a lot in your head at once: which grounds are strong, which are exposed, what the other side will say, which authorities actually support each point — and whether those authorities are still good law. Assembling that picture by hand from a case bundle is slow, and it is easy to prepare only your own side of the argument.
Case Strategy solves this by:
- Arguing from your seat. You declare the side you act for — petitioner, respondent, accused, prosecution, and so on — and every section of the report is framed for that side.
- Rating every ground. Each numbered ground carries a strength rating, so you know where to lead and where to shore up.
- Preparing you for the other side. The report anticipates opposing arguments and pairs each with a rebuttal.
- Verifying its authorities. Cited cases carry trust badges showing whether the citation resolved in a public citator under the name given, and whether the authority has since been followed, distinguished, overruled or superseded.
- Letting you pressure-test. Test scenarios against the report, or argue it out loud in a simulated moot court and get a feedback scorecard.
How it works
- Attach your case files from the Files panel (optional, recommended) — the pleadings, orders, evidence, and correspondence that tell the story of the matter. Files ground the evidence analysis, cross-examination questions and record citations; without them the strategy builds from your description alone.
- Declare the side you act for and describe the case and the outcome you need, in plain language.
- Confirm the estimate. Judicio shows the files, side, and credit cost before anything is spent.
- Judicio builds the strategy — reading your files when attached, framing the issues, building grounds for your side, anticipating the opposition, and verifying every authority it cites.
- Work the report — walk the grounds, follow the citations, note the evidence gaps, and read the neutral evaluation.
- Pressure-test it with scenarios or a moot court session, then export to PDF or Word.
Credit Cost
A strategy run costs 15 credits (standard) or 35 credits (Deep Mode). Scenarios cost 5 credits each and moot court sessions 10 credits per session. See Credits Explained.
Working with your team
On the Organisation plan, a strategy report can be shared with specific colleagues — editors can run scenarios, continue the analysis, and work the follow-up threads; viewers can read the report and export it.
