Shared with Me

When a colleague shares a work item with you, you do not have to hunt for it. Shared items surface in three places: a notification the moment it happens, a Shared tab in the relevant workspace, and a Shared with me card on your Home dashboard.

Notifications​

You are notified in Judicio — the bell in the top bar — and by email when:

  • Something is shared with you — the notification names the item, who shared it, and your role, and links straight into it.
  • Your access is removed — so you are never left wondering why an item disappeared.
  • Ownership is transferred to you — you now own the item; the notification links to it.

These arrive under the Sharing & Collaboration notification category, managed like any other Judicio notification from the bell's settings.

The Shared tab​

Every workspace's history panel — Research, Drafting, Document Review, Review Matrix, Timeline, Translation, and Case Strategy — has a Shared tab beside your own runs, with a count of items shared with you. Each row shows the item, who owns it, and its status. Click a row to open the item with whatever role you were given.

Your own items stay in your usual history tabs; the Shared tab is purely the work of others that you have access to.

The Home dashboard card​

The Home dashboard shows a Shared with me card listing the most recent items teammates have shared with you, across all seven workspaces — each row with the owner's avatar, the feature, and the item's status. It sits alongside your Recent activity and Projects cards, so incoming shared work is visible the moment you sign in.

Knowing what's shared at a glance​

Shared items are marked wherever they appear:

  • Avatar stacks on rows and session headers show the owner and collaborators.
  • "Shared by" indicators identify the owner on items that were shared with you.
  • Inside a session, the header's avatars show live presence — see Working Together.
