Notifications
Judicio's runs continue in the background, so nothing makes you sit and watch a progress bar. The bell in the top bar is how you find out a run has finished, and how you catch up on everything else that happened while you were elsewhere.
The bell
The bell sits in the top bar, between Templates and the theme control. A small green dot appears on it while anything is unread, and the count is announced to screen readers as part of the button's name.
Pressing it opens a panel anchored under the bell. Pressing it again, clicking away, or pressing Escape closes it.

The list scrolls inside the panel while the header and the footer stay put, so View all notifications is always reachable no matter how much has piled up.
There are no category filters. Unreads is the only filter, in the panel and on the full page alike.
What a row shows
Every notification, in the panel and on the page, carries the same four things: a glyph for the tool it came from, a headline, how long ago it arrived, and a line or two of detail. Unread rows carry a green dot and sit on a highlighted background.
The time reads Just now under a minute, then in minutes, then hours, then days. Past a week it becomes a date.
Some notifications carry a button as well as the row. The two can go to different places on purpose: the row means "show me this", while the button can carry an instruction with it, which is how a failure notification can offer to retry the run rather than just show you that it failed.
The full page
View all notifications opens the full history, which adds the two things the panel has no room for.

Notifications are grouped by day. The first two groups are headed Today and Yesterday; older groups are headed with the weekday and date. When there is nothing more to fetch, the foot of the list reads That's everything. You're all caught up.
When there is nothing to show
An empty inbox shows That's everything, over You're all caught up.
If Judicio cannot reach your notifications at all, you get a different state on purpose: Notifications unavailable, over We couldn't load your notifications. Please try again shortly. The two look different so a connection problem is never mistaken for a quiet week.
Getting the same thing by email
Notifications also reach you by email, and which ones is up to you. Preferences in your account menu carries a master Email notifications switch and a set of per-category switches under it: finished research, file processing, credits and billing, organisation and sharing events, security, and product updates.
Turning the master switch off silences the lot. The bell is unaffected either way. See Preferences.
