Gmail Add-in

Judicio for Gmail brings the same email actions as the Outlook add-in into Gmail's side panel — as simple cards. Open an email, open Judicio, and summarise, extract deadlines, draft a reply, or file the email to a matter.

At a glance
  • Install: free, from the Google Workspace Marketplace (search "Judicio")
  • Sign in: your existing Judicio account, via a quick browser round-trip
  • Compose support: a Draft with Judicio button when writing an email, plus a manual Check before sending compliance action
  • Credits: email actions cost 1–4 credits; the compliance check is free

Install from the Google Workspace Marketplace

  1. Open the Google Workspace Marketplace and search for "Judicio" (or in Gmail, click + Get add-ons in the right side panel).
  2. Click Install and approve Google's standard consent (the add-on can only read the message you have open, never your whole mailbox).
  3. Back in Gmail, the Judicio icon appears in the right side panel.

Google Workspace admins can also install the same listing for the whole domain from the Admin console.

Gmail add-ons can't show sign-in pop-ups, so sign-in is a quick browser round-trip:

  1. Open an email, click the Judicio icon, and choose Sign in on the card.
  2. A new browser tab opens with the Judicio sign-in page. Sign in with your existing account.
  3. Return to Gmail — the card refreshes into the action menu. (Click the card's refresh action if it hasn't caught up.)

What you can do

Open any email and pick an action from the Judicio card:

  • Summarise — key points, parties, and sentiment for the open email
  • Deadlines & obligations — extract dates and action items, and add them to your calendar
  • Draft a reply — a grounded reply inserted into the compose body for you to edit
  • Ask Judicio — Q&A over the open email or a matter
  • File to matter / Create a matter — save the email (and attachments) to a project, or start a new one
  • Review an attachment — run a Document Review on an attached contract, standard or against one of your review templates (playbooks)
  • Run a workflow — a multi-step Judicio workflow over the email, against a matter you pick
  • Sources — inspect the citations behind the last result

When composing, two actions appear at the bottom of the compose window:

  • Draft with Judicio — generate the body of the email from a short instruction (only the body is written; recipients and subject stay yours)
  • Check before sending — a manual compliance check of your draft against your organisation's policy (Gmail has no automatic send-time hook, so this is the Gmail counterpart of Outlook's on-send check — run it yourself before you hit Send)
Longer jobs continue in the web app

Gmail cards can't stream live progress. Actions that take a while — reviewing an attachment, for instance — start the job and give you a link that opens the result in app.judicio.ai.

Troubleshooting

  • The add-on isn't in the Marketplace. Your Google Workspace admin may restrict Marketplace installs — ask them to allow Judicio or install it for the domain.
  • Signed in in the browser, but the card still shows Sign in. Return to the card and refresh it; if it persists, close and reopen the side panel.
  • "No active seat" card after signing in. Your account isn't on an active plan or seat — see Team Management or contact your admin.
