Security Settings
The Security tab gives you visibility into how and where your account is accessed. It shows a snapshot of your account, your primary sign-in method, and a live list of every device currently signed in — with one-click sign-out for any session.
Open security settingsThis page reads your security state live from Judicio's authentication provider (Clerk). There's nothing to "save" here — the only actions are signing sessions out. Password and multi-factor setup are handled in your account's authentication settings, not on this page.
Opening the page
Navigate to Security
Select your profile avatar in the bottom-left of the sidebar, choose Settings, then select Security in the Settings rail.
Account overview
Read your account snapshot
The Account overview card shows three stats side by side:
- Account created — the date your account was first set up.
- Last sign in — when you most recently signed in. (For a brand-new account mid-first-session this reads Just now.)
- Active sessions — how many devices are currently signed in, shown as a count.
Account security
Confirm your sign-in method
The Account security card names your primary authentication method — for example Email OTP (a one-time code sent to your email), Google, or Microsoft — with an Active badge beside it and a one-line explanation.
If Judicio can't determine your method (which can happen for some single-sign-on accounts), it shows Unknown and suggests signing out and back in. This card is informational; there are no buttons on it.
Active sessions
The Active sessions card is the heart of this page — a list of every device and browser signed into your account.
Review each signed-in device
Each row shows:
- The device and browser (for example Laptop · Chrome 124), with a small green dot on your current device's icon.
- The location and last active time (for example Mumbai, India · Last active Jun 12, 3:40 PM).
- When the session expires.
- A This device badge on the session you're using right now.
Sign out a single session
For any session that isn't your current device, select Sign out on its row. That device is signed out immediately and must re-authenticate to get back in.
Sign out everywhere else at once
Select Signout all other devices in the top-right of the card to end every session except the one you're using. Use this if you've signed in on a shared or lost device, or if anything looks unfamiliar.
If you see a device or location you don't recognise, sign that session out (or use Signout all other devices) and then change your password from your account's authentication settings. An unfamiliar active session can indicate someone else has access.
Managing your password
Password changes and resets are handled by Judicio's authentication provider, not from this page:
- Change your password from your account's authentication/security settings. If you sign in with Google or Microsoft, your password is managed by that provider and there's nothing to change in Judicio.
- Locked out? Use Forgot password on the sign-in page and follow the reset link sent to your email.
Security best practices
- Review active sessions periodically and sign out anything unfamiliar.
- Sign out on shared devices when you're done.
- Use a strong, unique password (for email sign-in) that you don't reuse elsewhere.
- Keep your email current in Profile — reset links and security alerts go there.
Next steps
- Profile — update your name, jurisdictions, and role.
- Preferences — set your theme, language, and notification toggles (including security alerts).
- Organisation Settings — manage members and roles (admins only).
